The Owner's Desk

Before you buy, test the washer-income assumptions.

Compare the seller’s claim with a machine-use scenario you enter. Keep the unknowns, see the conditional receipts, and leave with specific questions.

WashDeal · $47 USD one time
Secure payment on Stripe. The synthetic example is free.

One water total. Two possible scenarios.

Synthetic example · 10,000 US gallons
Same machines, prices and January period.

Scenario A800 small / 100 large cycles$2,100
Scenario B200 small / 400 large cycles$2,400

Different use, different receipts. Water alone cannot tell you which happened.

A matching water bill isn’t proof of income.

Unpaid cycles still use water. Different machines use different volumes. A shared meter can include somebody else’s use. Those details change what the arithmetic can say.

Claim. Water. Questions.

  1. Label the seller’s claim.Use self-service washer receipts only and record the exact dates. Whole-store sales do not belong in this comparison.
  2. Make the use scenario explicit.Enter measured water, deductions, relative total cycles, paid proportions and per-cycle water settings. There are no equal-use or leakage defaults.
  3. Keep a report you can inspect.Save alternatives, export JSON to reopen later, and print a report with inputs, warnings and evidence questions attached.

Check the workings before paying.

In the synthetic example, small machines use 10 gallons per cycle at a $2 vend price. Large machines use 20 gallons at $5. All cycles are assumed paid, with no deductions.

800 small cycles and 100 large cycles use 10,000 gallons and produce $2,100. Change the use to 200 small and 400 large cycles: the same water produces $2,400.

These are teaching figures, not recommended settings or a real store’s results. Read the formula and source boundaries.

Is this the right tool for your deal?

Can WashDeal verify the seller’s income?

No. It calculates what your entered assumptions would produce. It cannot validate bills, cycle counts, financial records, profit or a seller’s honesty. A matching result is not an endorsement of the claim.

What if I don’t know the machine-use split?

Leave it blank. The calculation stops and the missing input becomes a question. You can also enter and clearly label alternatives to explore them. Inventory alone does not establish relative machine use.

What if I only have the bill amount or a shared meter?

The app will not calculate property-specific receipts from those inputs. You need a dedicated measured volume, with claim and water periods aligned.

Why not use a free spreadsheet?

That is a reasonable option. Laundromat Resource advertises a free water-analysis spreadsheet through its free membership. WashDeal’s paid offer is the guided local workflow, scenario snapshots and a reproducible report, not a secret formula.

Where do my inputs go?

They stay in this browser tab. There is no upload, account or automatic save. Export JSON before closing; your browser’s download folder and any cloud backup you use are outside our control.

Is this a subscription or a financial model?

No subscription. The $47 USD purchase is a one-time local tool. It does not estimate profit, valuation, financing, dryer income or whether you should buy.
